The Ship Inn, featured in the Good Beer Guide since 2004, is well known for serving traditional handpulled cask ales.

The Caske Marque accreditation was also recently awarded due to the hight standard of John Smiths Cask, our resident bitter, and the rotational guest beers, ensuring that there is at least two handpulled ales being served at all times.

Some of our favourite guest beers include, Old Speckled Hen, Bombardier, Yorkshire Terrier, Emmerdale, Black Sheep, not forgetting the seasonal specials such as Rosey Nosey & Summer Lightening to name but a few.
